Tunisia aims to double golf courses by 2020

Tunisia, the northern most country of Africa aims to double golf courses by 2020.
Over the next decade Tunisia will integrate new golf courses along the northern shore of the Tunis lake, Raoued (Tunis), Hergla (Sousse), Zarzis and Djerba. Tunisia’s ambitions will help diversify the environment and landscape just like Sousse and Hammamet, the golf course of Djerba and the “Golf Club Tozeur” which was created in 2007
According to French golf tour operators’ of “Greens du Monde” Tunisia was ranked the world’s 4th golf destination in 2008 and attracts 65 thousand tourists per year.
